Obituary
The death of Mrs. Mary Alderton took place at her residence, Gospers' Groves, Windsor, on Sunday night last, at the advanced age of 84 years. The deceased was a native of Tipperary, Ireland, and came to the colony at the age of 19. She was married to the late Mr. John Alderton in the year 1842, and had a family of seven children, six of whom survive her. She also leaves behind her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The funeral took place on Tuesday, the remains being interred in the Wesleyan Cemetery at McGrath's Hill. The Rev. J. W. Winspear officiated at the grave, and Mr. J. W. Chandler carried out the funeral arrangements.
