Mary Louise Douglas-Hamilton was born 1 November 1884 in London, England, United Kingdom to William Alexander Louis Stephen Douglas-Hamilton, 12th Duke of Hamilton (1845-1895) and Mary Louise Elizabeth Montagu (1854-1934) and died 21 February 1957 of unspecified causes. She married James Graham, 6th Duke of Montrose (1878-1954) 14 June 1906 .
