Obituary

The death took place on Wednesday afternoon at a private hospital, Ashfield, of Miss Mary Rebecca Davison after an illness of ten weeks. The deceased, who was 75 years of age, was born at Glanmire where she had lived until six months ago. For the past [?]0 years she was postmistress at that village having only relinquished duties there at the end of last year when her late sister's illness compelled her to remove to Bathurst. One brother (James) and one sister (Caroline) predeceased her by eleven and five months, respectively, and she is survived by two brothers, John, (Narooma) and Christopher (Strathfield) and one sister Gertrude (Mrs. Field Narooma). Misses Leila and Elsie Davison, of Bathurst, are nieces. Deceased during the past few months had resided with her brother and sister-in-law of Strathfield. The interment will take place at Holy Trinity cemetery, Kelso, this morning at 11 o'clock.
