Mary de Trafford was born 23 February 1920 to Humphrey Edmund de Trafford, 4th Bt. (1891-1971) and Cynthia Hilda Evelyn Cadogan (1896-1966) and died 28 October 2007 of unspecified causes. She married Francis James Cecil Bowes-Lyon (1917-1977) 22 April 1941 .
