Please use the standard person-input forms (found from the "create or edit article" menu above), where a couple of keystrokes and a click will often enter a whole country name or state name, and a new parent page, if you clicked on the parent's name in the infobox on the edit preview of the child's page, usually has three names already in the right boxes and may display a child automatically, saving lots of time. Then you can easily add tabs for ancestors and descendants.

For pages for PLACES, the procedure is now really easy. Not just the page about the place, but with another seven clicks or keystrokes you can create the page that tells you about births, deaths, etc in that locality or county. See Familypedia:Model place page/procedure.
