He married Marion Risberg (1928-2018) 8 January 1949 in Cook County, Illinois, United States.
Melvin Bubley, 85, survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Marion (nee Risberg); devoted and loving father of Michael (Christine), David, Martin and Daniel; proud grandfather of nine grandchildren, Michele (Gary) Wiehagen , Elisa (Bryan) Hill, Aaron, Chase, Troy, Austin, Bryce, Lexy and Sydney; son of the late Edward and Esther Bubley, one of six children, and survived by only one sibling, sister, Betty Primer. Melvin was a longtime resident of Hoffman Estates, and a member of Beth Tikvah Synagogue. Melvin had a successful accounting and real estate practice. A chapel service will be Monday, at 12:15 p.m. at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment will be in Shalom Memorial Park.
