Michael Miller was born 1770 in Linville, Rockingham County, Virginia, United States of America to John Miller (1735-1826) and Barbara Mauzy (1744-1819) and died 1834 Greenville, Monroe County, West Virginia, United States of America of unspecified causes. He married Mary Elizabeth Smith (c1772-c1865) 24 February 1791 in Greenbrier County, West Virginia, United States.
Michael's family moved to what is now called the Miller-Pence Farm near Greenville about 1773 and Michael lived there the rest of his life. This farm and its Miller-Halstead Cemetery were added to the National Register of Historical Places in 2006.
