Mihály Count Teleki de Szék was born 1672 in Sorostély, Sibiu County, Transylvania, Holy Roman Empire to Mihály Teleki de Szék (1634-1690) and Judit Weér de Köröstarcsa and Muron (1641-1707) and died 1720 Szentpéter Kolozsvár, Cluj County, Transylvania, Holy Roman Empire of unspecified causes. He married Katalin Thoroczkay de Toroczkószentgyörgy (1669-1723) .
Mihály Teleki de Szék was Obergespan (governor) of Kolozs County. He died in 1720 in the former village of Szentpéter, now a suburb of the city of Cluj-Napoca.
