Nathan Fay was born 5 October 1750 in Westborough, Worcester County, Massachusetts to Benjamin Fay (1712-1777) and Martha Mills (1719-1761) and died 8 June 1825 Alstead, Cheshire County, New Hampshire of unspecified causes. He married Persis Harrington (1753-1794) 1 January 1771 in Westborough, Worcester County, Massachusetts. He married Margaret Newton 9 October 1800 in Cheshire County, New Hampshire.

Biography

Nathan Fay married his first wife in 1771 in Westboro MA and then shortly after the end of the Revolutionary War he moved to East Alstead, New Hampshire, where he cleared a farm and established what became known as the Fay Homestead.

He had 8 children with his first wife and five more from the second.
