Biography
Nicholas Kelley marched with Company A of The Mormon Battalion, where his uncle, Jefferson Hunt (1803-1879) was the commanding officer. His brother and wife marched with him.
Kelley, Nicholas (enlisted at Council Grove August 31, 1846. With wife Sarah Ann Price and son Parley Kelley, went to Pueblo with Higgins Sick Detachment on September 1846 where his brother died of pneumonia.
