Patrick Daley was born 31 January 1844 in Pitt Town, New South Wales, Australia to Patrick Daley (1815-1875) and Mary Coleman (c1822-1879) and died 17 February 1898 Wilberforce, New South Wales, Australia of typhoid fever. He married Sarah Matilda Turnbull (1842-1930) 12 December 1871 in St Matthews Church, Windsor, New South Wales, Australia.
