Patrick O'Rourke was born circa 1855 in Queanbeyan, New South Wales, Australia to Patrick O'Rourke (1825-1873) and Mary McMahon (1825-1903) and died 15 April 1938 Brunswick-street, Maitland East, New South Wales, Australia of unspecified causes. He married Sabina Seaman (1860-1933) 25 February 1884 in Court House, Queanbeyan, New South Wales, Australia.

Obituary
The death of Patrick O'Rourke, at his home in Brunswick-street, East Maitland, on April 15, closed a life of varied experience. During his 83 years, Mr. O'Rourke had travelled ex tensively throughout New South Wales and had lived in many towns. He took up residence in Maitland in 1907, but left for a time when he was engaged with a gang constructing three sections ot the North Coast railway as far as Gloucester. When he returned, he lived in East Maitland and remained there for the remainder of his life. He is survived by three sons, Messrs. Daniel (Lorn, West Maitland), Patrick (Sydney), and Frank (Sydney), and one daughter, Mrs. Meehan, of East Maitland. His wife predeceased him four years ago. The funeral took place to the Catholic cemetery in East Maitland.
