"By special request, no flowers or mourning." So ends, the advertised obituary notice of Mr. Percy Edward Williams who died in the Mater Misericordae Hospital North Sydney last week. Deceased was a brother-in-law of Dr Gabriel, of Gundagai, and often visited these parts. He was at one time Registrar General and later on was one of the Savings Bank Commissioners retiring on a pension some years back. One son of deceased was killed at Gallipoli, and another boy died about the same time from injuries received through a detonator which he picked up exploding. A widow and three children are left.
