Military
Although he was drafted into the Vietnam War, Peter instead received official Conscientious Objector status and did not serve. His father, a veteran of WWII, has said that this is one of the things he is most proud of about his son.
Education
Peter attended the Institute of Technology and received his Bachelor of Environmental Design in 1980 from the University of Minnesota.
