Mormon Legacy

Many of the grandchildren of Phineas Howe would become leading figures in the newly formed The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (aka: Mormon Church founded in 1830 by Joseph Smith (1805-1844)), largely through the efforts of two notable LDS Leaders and grandchildren, Brigham Young (1801-1877) and Willard Richards (1804-1854).
