Biography

Rev Nathan Pierce (1716-1793) (but he always spelled it Perce) was pastor of the Baptist Church in Rehoboth, Massachusetts for 40 years and succeeded by his son, Rev Preserved Pierce who stayed another 40 years, making in total 80 years that father and son presided over the church there. This church was known for many years as the Pierce Meeting House.
