Quoted on Findagrave: Glasgow Herald - Friday 11 August 1820, p 2: :Lately, at her house in George's Square, Glasgow, after a long and severe illness, occasioned by a fall, Robina Pollok, only child of Capt. John Pollok of Balgray, who was killed at the battle of Fontenoy, in the year 1745, only brother of the late Sir Robert Pollok, Bart and relict of the late Sir Hew Craufurd of Jordanhill, Bart. Her Ladyship was in her own person sole representative of two of the most ancient families in Scotlands, the Lockharts of Lee, and the Polloks. She served heir to Sir Robert Pollok of Pollok, Bart in 1807, whose estate was strictly entailed to her, whom following, on her eldest son, now Sir Robert Craufurd Pollok of Pollok, Bart. Her Ladyship has left her younger children and other relatives handsomely provided for. She was ever a kind benefactress to the indigent and the needful, and her memory will never be obliterated in the minds of her remaining disconsolate family. Her Layship's remains were interred in the family sepulchre of Pollok, in the Mearns Kirk, attended by her son, Sir Robert Crawfurd Pollok, Bart and other near relations and friends and by the whole of her tenantry on the estate of Pollok.  +
