Need for refreshment
No reply in 10 months. This partial explanation adapted from User:rtol's explanation of a very obvious illustration of the results of non-refreshment, may be accurate:
- This is a recursive property. In order to update the results if any changes are made to the linkages or to the names of any of the people at the ends of lines, you need to resave the sensor pages of the person concerned and all the others in the line, probably in a fixed order.
How can you get a zero or negative number?
The facts list seems to include the individual among the descendants every time. So the number of descendants should never be less than 1. Visitors to the site who see descendants of Charlemagne tabulated as having "-1" descendants may go away in disgust. Can we fix that or devise a standard explanation? — Robin Patterson (Talk) 11:37, June 15, 2010 (UTC)
