Rebeka Baglin (c1748-1806) from about the age of 25 to 31 had a number of illegitimate children, two girls and two boys. Her oldest boy, William Baglin died in 1779 when he was about a year old. Her youngest daughter, Ann Baglin born about 1775, had an illegitimate son (base child) in 1792 when she was only 17; in 1817 Ann’s son, Thomas Baglin, married Mary Neale and they had eight children; thus carrying on the Baglin family name.
