Sir Richard de Vernon of Haddon was born circa 1370 to Richard de Vernon (c1345-1376) and Juliana de Pembrugge (c1349-c1409) and died 1409 of unspecified causes.
Richard De Vernon, the Norman Baron of Shipbrook, was grantee at the conquest of the lands of Hooton in the reign of John, or Richard 1, Hooton was obtained in marriage by Randal Walersis, as appears by a charter whereby Thomas, son of Randal Walersis, releases to Richard, his brother, all the lands of his farther in Cheshire, and his right in Hooton, also which was the inheritance of his mother.
