Robert Fuller was born 1 January 1616 in Southampton, Hampshire, England to Thomas Fuller (1573-1659) and Anne Gilmore (1578-1632) and died 10 May 1706 Rehoboth, Bristol County, Massachusetts of unspecified causes. He married Sarah Ann Bowen (1623-1675) 23 April 1642 in Swansea, Bristol County, Massachusetts. He married Margaret Felton (1623-1700) 1678 in Rehoboth, Bristol County, Massachusetts.
Biography
Summary

He was a passenger on the English ship Bevis, which sailed from London in 1638, bound for New England. The ship arrived safe at Massachusetts Bay. (But his name does not appear on the official passenger list.)
Robert Fuller came to New England in the ship "Bevis of Hampton" in 1638. Settled in Salem, Massachusetts. Removed to Rehoboth, Massachusetts, returned to Salem 1676. Then to Rehobooth in 1696. Died 10 May 1706.
It was said that Robert was the first and only bricklayer in New England for many years. Between 1682 and 1684, he was paid for brickwork done on the Town House in Salem. In 1697, he sold his homestead and moved back to Rehoboth, where his sons Benjamin and Jonathan were living.
Robert was a bricklayer by trade. He may have come to New England on the ship "Bevis", first settling at Salem and then Weymouth. He and Sarah married and moved to Rehoboth by 1644, along with Sarah's parents. They were among the first settlers. Robert's name appears on a list of land owners there in 1646, and they had land grants made there until 1668.
King Philips War
The family's home in Rehoboth was burned in an Indian attack during King Philip's War; Sarah and two of their sons were killed within a few months of each other. Robert returned to Salem , and married his second wife Margaret Felton there.
At least two sons, Samuel and John, along with his first wife Sarah and son-in-law Nehemiah Sabin, were killed during King Philip's War in 1676.

He married, second, Margaret ____ Waller, about 1678. She was the widow of Christopher Waller of Ipswich,MA. her maiden name may have been Felton, and she may have been the daughter of John Felton and Eleanor Thrower Felton of Coventry, Kent.
