Robert Sidney, 1st Earl of Leicester, was born 19 November 1563 to Henry Sidney (1529-1586) and Mary Dudley (c1532-1586) and died 13 July 1626 of unspecified causes. He married Barbara Gamage (c1565-1621) 23 September 1584 . He married Sarah Blount (-1655) 25 April 1625 .
