Newspaper obituary of October 17, 1957, reads: Obituary, Mrs Rose Ann Bransdon. In Corrimal Private Hospital on 8th October there passed away an elderly lady who was well known in the Wauchope district. She was Mrs Rose Ann Bransdon, 95, whose husband predeceased her in 1927. Surviving family members of her family are Robert (of Brunswick Heads), Arthur (Corrimal), Herbert (Bondi Junction), Emily (Mrs Smith, Bellingen), and Elsie (Mrs Coombes, Wauchope). There are also 45 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. Two sons and one daughter predeceased their mother, viz, George (Bowraville), William (Wauchope), and Annie (Mrs Tout, Macksville).
