Rotrude was born 802 to Louis the Pious (778-840) and Ermengarde of Hesbaye (c778-818) and died 23 August 860 of unspecified causes. She married Gerard d'Auvergne (-841) 819 JL .
Note that we follow the Foundation for Medieval Genealogy which has that the children of Rotrude's husband were with an earlier wife.
