Rudolf III. von Thierstein was born circa 1083 to Rudolf II. von Thierstein (1060-1114) and Ita von Habsburg (1064-?) and died circa 1132 of unspecified causes. Charlemagne (747-814), Charlemagne (747-814)/s.

Little is known about Rudolf. FMG suggests that his grandson inherited the county when Rudo;f's nephew died childless. According to FMG, Rudolf's descendants may have ruled Thierstein until the death of Sigmund in 1326. Sigmund may have been Rudolf great-great or great-great-great-grandson. Wikipedia has that Rudolf's line ended in 1517.
