Russell Lord Stickler was born 15 March 1897 in Lansford, Pennsylvania, United States to Issac Mealing Stickler (1848-1910) and Martha Ann Hill (1857-1941) and died 27 November 1986 United States of unspecified causes. He married Catherine A Jones (c1902-) 1 June 1928 in United States.
Russell born 1897 was the twelfth child of Isaac Stickler and Martha Ann Hill. When he was thirteen years of age, his father, Isaac, died and Russell was declared an orphan and with his younger sister, Ruth Helen, placed under the care of Fred Kline of Lansford, PA.
On 26 May 1917, Fred Kline petitioned the court to secure for Russell his rightful share of the estate of his father, Isaac, who had deceased seven years earlier in June 1910. Russell married Catherine A Jones aka Kit, a registered nurse (RN) and they had two children, Russell, Jr. and Chester.
Russell went to the School of Dentistry at Temple University, Philadelphia and graduated with the degree of DDS in 1931. For many years he practiced dentistry in the Germantown area of Philadelphia (Roxborough & Glenside). When he retired he went to live at Lake Worth, FL where he died on 27 November 1986 at age 89.

S., father of Russell and Patricia Stickler of Lake Worth, Fla. and Chester and Joan Stickler of Phila., grandfather of two. Relatives and friends are invited to the funeral Sat. 11 A.M. Summit Presbyterian Church, Greene and Westview Ave's., Mr. Airy. Internment at.George Washington Memorial Park. Friends may call at the Church after 10:30 A. M. In lieu of flowers, contributions to your favourite charity in memory would be appreciated.
