Sally Ann Waite was born in 1815 in New York. She married Abraham J. Pickard on June 26, 1831. She died on March 28, 1896 at home on Pickard Street in Ellery, New York. Sally was described as a woman of high character and strong personality and retained her mental vigor until the time of her death. The funeral was held Tuesday from the late home and was largely attended. Among those present were Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Pickard, Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Pickard of that city.
