.. the next [death] was Mr. S. Farrell, Sen., who has been carrying on a butchering business in Walcha for the past 30 years or upwards. He died suddenly on Thursday evening, and was buried on Sa[turday] afternoon. Being an old and respected resident of the town there was a very large attendance at the funeral. Mr. Farrell was one of the oldest residents of Walcha, having lived here for upwards of 49 years. He was 76 years of age, and leaves a large family of grown-up sons and daughters.
