Samuel Hutchinson, baptised 17 December 1624, lived in Boston, married, and had a child, but left behind few records. He was not present at the Indian Massacre at the Hutchinson Farm in 1643. His one child was born the following year.

1677 Will of Samuel
Samuel Hutchinson (1624-), younger brother of of Faith Hutchinson (1617-1652) left a will that is noteworthy for identifying each of the 7 children of Faith and Thomas Savage, his sister having died in 1652 just after her 7th childbirth.
In his will of 7 April 1677, "Samuel Hutchinson of Boston" bequeathed to "[blank], Thomas, Ephraim, [blank], Mary & Dine Savage & Hannah Gillam the seven children of my cousin Faith Savage deceased twenty shillings apiece." The two names missing from this damaged document are the sons Habijah and Perez.
