Sarah Morton Eaton was born circa 1604 in Barnwood, Gloucestershire, England and died circa February 1621 Onboard the Mayflower in Plymouth Harbor, Plymouth, Plymouth County, Massachusetts of unspecified causes. She married Francis Eaton (1596-1633) 1618 in England.
Around 1618, Sarah married a man named Francis Eaton (1596-1633). The marriage record has never been found and so her maiden name is unknown. Together they had a son named Samuel in 1620 and shortly after this they all boarded the Mayflower. Perhaps the stress of a two month journey on a crowded cargo ship was too much for a nursing mother, as she died that first winter in Plymouth Colony. Although she died young, through her son Samuel she now has a proud and accomplished line of descendants.

Cole's Hill Memorial
A large monument was erected in 1921 on Cole's Hill in Plymouth, Massachusetts to honor the many pilgrims who came to Plymouth Colony in the Mayflower but died during the first terrible winter and were buried here. This person is one of those person's listed thereon.

National Monument to the Forefathers, commemorates the Mayflower Pilgrims, (including this person) who came to Plymouth Colony in 1620 on the Mayflower. Dedicated on August 1, 1889, it is thought to be the world's largest solid granite monument. Located on an 11 acre hilltop site on Allerton Street in Plymouth, Massachusetts.
