Obituary

MRS. WILLIAM WALL.

After a lengthy illness Mrs Serene Wall, wife of Mr William Wall, of Macksville, passed away on Thursday afternoon.

The late Mrs. Wall was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Unicomb, of Jones Island, and was born on the Hunter River. When she was about two mouths old her parents came to the Manning and settled at Jones Island After her marriugo the subject of this notice lived with her husband at Jones Island, and later moved to Lansdowne. About 27 years ago they made their home at Macksville. Deceased would have been 68 years old had she lived until next February. She leaves a sorrowing husband and a grownup family of six sons and six daughters. The late Mrs. Wall was a lovable person and patiently bore a long period of illness which led up to her death.

Sisters of deceased are: Mesdames Drury, sen. (Taree), Shoesmith (Newcastle), W. and E. Evendon (Cundle), Fostor (Coopernook), Phil Carle (Cundle), G. Gill (Richmond River) and W. Bostock (Taree). The brothers are Messrs W. Unicomb (Richmond River), and Cabe Unicomb (Macksville). The late Mr. Geo Unicomb, of Coopernook, was a brother, and the late Mrs. Harry Minnett, of Cundle, was a sister.

The funeral took place in Friday, many of the relatives from the Manning being present.
