Biography
Solomon ALLRED III is the only known son of Solomon ALLRED II and his Wife Mary FINLEY.
It is believed Solomon Allred II migrated from the West Nottingham Tax District of Chester County, Pennsylvania in the summer of 1730 to escape the taxing collection conflicts. Most likely they traveled over the Great Wagon Road to Frederick County, Maryland from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. They are believed to have settled across the Potomac River from their friends the Jeremiah York family living on Terrapin Neck, Virginia. It was in Frederick County, Maryland where Solomon ALLRED III was most likely born in 1731. The brothers of Solomon Allred II are also believed to have settled in the same Antietam Creek area of Frederick County, Maryland.
