Biography
Susanna Archer was born circa 1606 in England and died 26 November 1674 Salem, Essex County, Massachusetts of unspecified causes. She married Samuel Archer (1608-c1667) 1631 in Salem, Essex County, Massachusetts. She married Richard Hutchinson (1602-1682) October 1668 in Salem, Essex County, Massachusetts.
1630: Winthrop Fleet Migration

This family were some of the 700+ Passengers of the Winthrop Fleet which sailed from England to settle the Massachusetts Bay Colony at Salem in 1630 under the guidance of Gov. John Winthrop. It is reported that during the first year nearly 200 of these colonists died and another 100 returned to England. The remaining settlers either stayed in Salem or moved on to Boston or Watertown.
Marriage and Family
Maiden name is not known. Was the widow of Samuel Archer when she married Salem religious leader Richard Hutchinson (1602-1682). See "The Great Migration Begins," v. 1, p 52. Going beyond this information will be invented information not by primary sources and the NEHGS professional scholarship.
