Susannah Jackson was born 10 August 1867 in Wollombi, New South Wales, Australia to Henry Jackson (1836-1933) and Caroline Susannah Merrick (1840-1933) and died 2 May 1953 Mackay, Queensland, Australia of unspecified causes. She married George Sunderland (1868-1942) 18 May 1890 in Windsor, New South Wales, Australia.

Obituary
By the death of Mrs. S. Sunderland, Sunnyside district has lost one of its old est residents. With her late husband and family she settled at Sunnyside in 1906, having travelled by horse caravan from the west, with the late Mr. and Mrs. Griffiths and family, members of which are well known in Mackay and district.
A native of Singleton, N.S.W., where two sisters and one brother still live, Mrs. Sunderland was in her 86th year.
The funeral took place on Monday, leaving from Holy Trinity Church. Pallbearers were Richard and William Griffiths, W. Marfield, C. Ollett, S. Baulch and L. Osborne.
She leaves one daughter, Mrs. J. E. O'Brien, of Camp Hill, Brisbane, and one son, Aubrey Sunderland, of Sunnyside.
