Svyatoslav Olgovich of Rylsk, Prince of Rylsk, was born 1167 to Oleg Svyatoslavich of Novgorod-Seversky (c1137-1180) and Agafiya Rostislavna of Smolensk (c1147-c1210) and died 1196 of unspecified causes.

Svyatoslav Olgovich of Rylsk (1167-1196) - prince of Rylsk, baptized Boris, son of Oleg Svyatoslavich ofNovgorod-Seversky, nephew of Igor Svyatoslavich of Chernigov.

He was born in 1167, participated in the campaigns against the Polovtsians in the spring and summer of 1183. In 1185, after the defeat of the army, headed by Igor Svyatoslavich of Chernigov, he was taken prisoner. The further fate is unclear. According to some assumptions, he died in 1186 in captivity [1], according to another version, he returned to Russia and was Prince of Kursk from 1196 , after Vsevolod Svyatoslavich's death [1].
