Târgu Frumos (alternative spelling Tîrgu Frumos, also Târgul/Tîrgul Frumos) is a town in Iași County, Moldavia, Romania. As of 2004, it has a population of 13,619. Eleven villages were administered by the town until 2004, when they were split off to form the communes of Balș, Costești and Ion Neculce.

During World War II, in March and May 1944, this area was the scene of the Battle of Târgu Frumos, part of the First Jassy-Kishinev Offensive.
