Contributions welcome!!![]
We're just getting started here! All Absalom Brown family researchers are welcome to contribute, make changes, and in any other way improve this page and its links.
But be prepared that on areas of disagreement there will be challenges. It may be that statements will have to be clarified to show them as opinion or probability rather than fact. But this is part of research, isn't it!

Using Summary field[]
Sylvia,
There's a summary field at the bottom whenever you make a change to the page. You probably should use that. Then when you hit the history tab at the bottom you will see a brief description of what change was made.
Cheers, David
Great progress![]
What a lot of edits, though. Have either of you tried any of the ready-made "templates" available by simple clicking, on the page you reach from the sidebar link called "Create a page"?
- Headings (rather than adding them later one at a time when you think of them), in a standard order to minimise the risk of duplicating a heading.
- Categories - you just add a name and a date or two and remove some comments tags.
I recommend the "Standard template" for all new person pages. It's easier to delete unwanted headings and categories later than to type them out when you realise they could be useful after all.
Very best wishes with the project. You may get inspiration from seeing what Bill and a few relatives have done with the Wigton Walker clan.
And do you realise you can sign and date contributions to talk pages just by typing ~~~~ or by hitting the corresponding link in the box below the "Save" button?
