See you are getting the hang of this. Thought you might be wondering why the links to Jane's parents are appearing in red.
The way the wiki works is that articles are linked together through their titles. If you have an existing title that you want to link to, you have to have an EXACT copy of the title on your page within th square brackets. Otherwise they think you want to create a NEW article under a different name.
In this case, the current title of Jane's parental articles is Alexander Walker (? - c1786)
That can be changed, but requires that you use the "move" function to rename the original article.
Currently no article has been created for Alexander's wife. So its open season there pick anything you want and we'll go with it. And we can go with anything for Alexander as well, but to connect to the existing article for him you need the exact title.
