"CREATE PAGE" too general a name for the current content
How about something like Wigton Walkers/page creation? (If you agree, just "Move" it to that name.)

- That's true. Originally this was a section on the main entry page for the Wigton Walkers, so it was obvious that it was "Wigton". As additional people started using the site, I started to get private questions on the old problem of "How do I create a new page". To make it easier for them I moved the Wigton "Input Page" information to a new "Create Page", and added a link to the "YOU CAN COPY THIS" section. That way, as pages are created there's a quick way for them to get back to the informaiton they need for creating a new page. Consider this an experiment. What I suggested on the WaterCooler was to add a button in the side bar that would talke people to a page for choosing template, and creating a page. I probably have the programming skills to do that...as it looks like a fairly simple HTML coding project...but 1) you'd probably need Admin authority to do that, and 2) there are higher priorities at the moment.
I'll move the page as you suggest. Bill
Page looking very good, Bill (after I found it by searching). I'd better study it in detail some time. Robin Patterson 20:13, 6 September 2006 (UTC)
Bottom box at present headed "Create a Blank Article" says "This is for cases where you don't want to use the standard Wigton Walker Template". But the earlier instructions say "Just enter the name of the desired article in the box below. The resulting "stub" will be consistent with other Wigton Walker pages"; that can at present mean only either the special search box or that bottom box. I wonder whether various changes in layout have meant that that should now say "box above"? Robin Patterson 03:29, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
