Sort order for surname categories[]

This bit seems to be unreliable:

"*categorizes under surname in first name, middle name order"

Is it possible that the later defaultsort is interfering with it? — Robin Patterson (Talk) 06:41, March 5, 2010 (UTC)

No, it is just incorrect. The category is in template {{Showfacts person}}, and it explicitly sets the sort key with the surname first. Thurstan 06:58, March 5, 2010 (UTC)

Other templates we could include?[]

How about the three that have been somewhat randomly added to pages in recent weeks - {{Namesake}} and a couple related to ancestry, whose names I don't recall exactly, but are about "couple ancestors" and "notable ancestors" or similar. I think they all do nothing when there's nothing to say, so they wouldn't hurt - unless they take time to evaluate. If they can go into this, a lot of editing time will be saved. — Robin Patterson (Talk) 13:03, July 2, 2010 (UTC)
