Teresa Astur de León was born circa 992 to Bermudo II de Léon and Elvira García de Castilla (965-1017) and died April 1039 of unspecified causes. She married Muhammed bin Abi Amir (?-1002) 1001 JL .
After her husband died, Teresa became a nun at San Pelayo de Oviedo.
