"Thelma Wintrone. Mrs. Thelma Evelyn Wintrone. 42, of 1009 E. La Salle Ave., died Friday, July 8, after an illness of four years. She was born Jan. 14, 1924 at Menemonie and came to the Barron area at the age of six. She was married April 23, 1947 to Seymour Wintrone. Mrs. Wintrone was a member of the Royal Neighbors and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. Surviving are her husband: three sons. Duane, James and Steven: her mother, Mrs. Amanda Field, and a sister, Verna, Mrs. Norman Hanson of Barron. Her father died in 1930. Services were held Monday at the First Lutheran church with Rev. C. P. Thronson officiating. Burial was in Wayside cemetery with Rausch-Rockman in charge."
