Thomas Alfred Green, a well-known and highly respected farmer at Neville, passed away with suddenness last Monday afternoon. He was engaged in loading wheat on a trolly, when he complained to his brother that he felt ill. He at once ceased work, but collapsed before reaching home a short distance away and died immediately. Medical aid was sent for, and after an examination it was revealed that death was due to heart failure, consequent upon a ruptured blood vessel caused by lifting. The deceased leaves a widow and five young children, ranging in age from 9 years to 8 months.
