Research Notes

According to the Allred Family in America, Alabama census records are faily sure this is Thomas Allred, Jr., Son of Thomas Sr and Elizabeth Twiggs. He married Margaret Alldredge in 1797 in Randolph County NC in 1794.

Soon after their wedding, the couple migrated to Knox County TN and the first of five sons was born in 1795. All children were born in Knox Co.
