Thomas Bruce, 2nd Earl of Ailesbury, 3rd Earl of Elgin, was born 1655 to Robert Bruce, 1st Earl of Ailesbury (1626-1685) and Diane Grey (c1629-1689) and died 10 December 1741 Brussels, Belgium of unspecified causes. He married Elizabeth Seymour (c1655-1696) 31 August 1676 in England, United Kingdom. He married Charlotte d'Argenteau (1678-1710) 27 April 1700 .
