Thomas Dilap Smith was born 10 March 1702 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, United States to Thomas Smith (1678-1742) and Mary Corwin (1676-1716) and died 23 May 1795 Portland, Cumberland County, Maine, United States of unspecified causes. He married Sarah Tyng (1702-1742) 12 September 1728 in Dunstable, Middlesex County, Massachusetts. He married Olive Plaisted (1698-1763) 1 March 1744 in Biddeford, York County, Maine. He married Elizabeth Hunt (1716-1799) 12 August 1766 in Biddeford, York County, Maine.
