Thomas Hill was born in 1460 to Humphrey Hill and Agnes Bird. He is a double descendant of Charlemagne (747-814) : 22nd generation via his father, and 25th via his mother. He married Margaret Wilbraham. He was the first protestant Lord Mayor of London, and he served in 1484.
