Tobias Payne was born circa 1635 in Fownhope, Herefordshire, England to William Payne (1605-1656) and Janam Bridges (1607-) and died 12 September 1669 Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts of unspecified causes. He married Sarah Winslow (1639-1726) 1666 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.
He had come to Boston from the West Indies in 1666.
