Trnava District (Slovak: okres Trnava, Hungarian: Nagyszombati járás) is a district in the Trnava Region of western Slovakia.

Until 1918, the district was mostly part of the Hungarian county of Pozsony, apart from Bučany in the east which formed part of Nyitra County.
