Ungheni (Former name: Nirașteu; Hungarian: Nyárádtő; German: Nyaradfluss, Narrading) is a town in Mureș County, central Transylvania, Romania. It administers six villages: Cerghid, Cerghizel, Morești, Recea, Șăușa and Vidrasău.
The town is situated 11 km from the county capital Târgu Mureş and is the location of the Târgu Mureş International Airport.
